Can't wait

We are finishing up Bigger due to unique circumstances...So I had originally planned to wait till the fall for CTC, but I can see that the girls, especially Keri, need so much more. It is very tiring to "tweak" Bigger for both of them. It would be less taxing if I had at least one child placed properly in it.
So, when we finish Bigger, I want to go straight into CTC! Tamara finished Preparing just around Christmas, and for Keri I would consider it starting fresh, as though it is her first time with HOD, and checking the placement chart, CTC will be a perfect fit. Right now, I am having them do written narrations so that won't come as a surprise when CTC starts. Keri wants more writing, and I know WWTB will provide that. The balance of different language arts lessons and DITHOR on alternating days will be a welcome change for her. Tamara wants more reading, so she will have that with CTC's history books and science books. Keri loves nature and biology, so I believe the science will interest her very much.
I have to say, it's also my way of trying to help Keri get excited about homeschooling for fall-because when she sees how exciting and challenging school is when we start CTC around May, and then we stop for the summer...I have a hope she will be eager to pick up where we left off in September instead of wanting to go back to public school
