A lot has happened in the 2yrs I've been away. Hubby deployed, hubby coming home, bought a house, new baby born, health crisis for me and baby, etc. We never finished HOD. I still have all the stuff so I am restarting it. My 10yr old- will be 11 when we start, will be doing Bigger again but with extensions. Will that be ok? She's actually excited about doing American History again. We'll get the appropriate grammar and math. We have everything for 8yr old. Our 6yr old will be doing LHFHG. We really want to make this work. This year should be a lot quieter...I hope!

First of all, Praise God that you and the baby are okay and that husband is coming home safely!! I am so happy that you get to be together again!!
Secondly, I think your HOD plan looks wonderful! Our son is in Bigger and it is just great. I think you are really going to appreciate your plan even more since you have a new little one to tend to. HOD just fits in so well to the busy lifestyle. Now you'll just have more time to enjoy being together as a family!!
So happy for you, and so thankful for the sacrifice of your husband and family in order to serve our country.
God Bless you.
By the way, our kids are almost the same ages, except I do not have a newborn!

I'm glad you are back, and yes, I do think that BHFHG and extensions for your 2 dc, and LHFHG for your other little one sounds like a good plan.
I have prayed for you to have the wisdom how to plan out the specifics of your days with HOD and for you to have a happy start back and for you to have a length of more steady days so a routine can more easily be set in place. PTL you and baby are feeling better and dh is back!
In Christ,
Julie
