What age is Brooklyn again, and what HOD guide is she doing? Oooh, that sounds like fun!

I'm not for sure about a specific idea, but I wanted to mention that Janice Vancleave has several books on projects for science fairs. I haven't looked at those specifically, but I have looked at other books of hers and they have been well done. Your library might have some of those. So that might be a great place to start looking for some ideas. :D

Beth - I'd flip through "God's Wonderful Works" and see what topics inspire dd as a starting point, and then check out the corresponding experiment in the Beyond guide to get going on some ideas. From there, I'd use the "Book Projects" book from DITHOR Grade 2 (if you own that) to put together a science fair poster/visual aid and match it to an experiment and text from Beyond. But, I like to start with what I own and what dc know! Maybe you'd love to research out something totally different. The Janice Van Cleave book is a great idea too!!!
