How much time per day - Preparing?

I read somewhere how long each box should take, but i can't find it.
I know the total time should be somewhere between 4-4 1/2 hrs.
My son is a bit of a dawdler. My prayer is that by me being more prepared (and having to spend less time preparing...) this year I might be able to help him conquer this bad habit.
Anyone have some testimonies or hope for me in this area?
Sure could use some encouragement about this one...
Thanks,
Mercy

Without DITHOR, I find Preparing takes about 3.5 hours at a medium pace.....with a couple of snack breaks! I find starting earlier is the best way to encourage the kids that it is not taking too long....that way I get it finished by lunch and the afternoon is left for play!

That's what I'm hoping I can do, show him the goal of being done by lunch!

I SOOOooo want this year to be an encouraging one for him! I am praying for him to have a renewed confidence and a great feeling of independence. Although he is by nature a "dreamer," I really believe that his ability catch the spirit of being an independent worker and feeling confidence that
he really CAN do it will help him dawdle less.
Anyone have that experience?
Thanks!

I found it!

Each box of lessons in Preparing.... is meant to be done in about 20 minutes or less (with the exception of Drawn into the Heart which will take 30 minutes and math which may take up to 30 minutes). If you are going longer than that, you need to adjust the assignment or step in and help them quickly finish it up. Forward motion!
Yay!!
