Loving DITHOR and Beyond English

My ds is finishing up his DITHOR project. He's making a faith, encouragement card. It's turning out beautifully and he's done everything so well and independently. I know the family he's planned it for will be blessed.
I did not start my dd on Beyond English at the beginning of the year.
I felt like maybe she was a little too young, I guess. Well, I started her a couple weeks ago and we both love it.
My plan is to do two lessons each week instead of one. That is if she's retaining and understanding everything just fine. One thing we're doing and really enjoying (although it isn't necessary) is we're using a composition book that has a blank area at the top. When it says to write a sentence or a question, she's then illustrating it at the top of the page. This is really getting her excited about writing sentences on her own as well. Love it!!
We just really love HOD in general. This is the first year in our homeschool journey where I'm still happy with what we're doing in the middle of the school year. God is good.
