Singapore~when do the lessons switch to textbooks?

Alrighty! After much prayer and going back and forth I placed my order for next school year!!! I am very excited about HOD~it just looks refreshing and solid. But I did have a quick question~at which level of Singapore does Carrie switch to textbooks vs. her own teaching lessons. My twins will be doing 3A/B next year, do I need to buy a guide with those lessons or do we solely use the textbook? (I know for 2A/B I need the Bigger Guide, for example...) Thanks a bunch! ~Holly
