My son is in 6th grade. He did Rod and Staff 2 and has done Christian Light 3 and 4. I am thinking about going back to Rod and Staff. What level would I put him in? I'm thinking maybe Rod and Staff 5. Would this leave him on the right course to high school?

Hi Ann! HOD has an overall goal for dc to complete R & S 6 by the end of Grade 8. R & S English 7 and 8 are high school credit worthy. So, you can place him in R & S English 4 or 5 and prepare him for high school English very well. If English isn't his thing, he could do 4. If he's doing well with it, he could do 5 - even half-speed 5 (2 days a week) would be fine otherwise too. R & S 5 is considered a foundational year, so it's one to make sure to do. HTH!
