I bought art portfolios for each child at Michaels using a 1/2 price coupon. They are nothing fancy, but have a plastic sleeve for each painting and a vinyl cover. My kids love getting them out and looking through them.

I bought cheap plastic easels (I think from an office supply store) and we display the painting of the week on our mantelpiece. I have 3 kids in CTC, so we have 3 paintings on our mantel. When the next painting is done, we take the old ones and store them in a large manila folder.

We have been displaying ours weekly on art easles, too, and I love that. I have been having my boys paint on 11 x 11 sheets of paper and then we mount them on a 12 x12 sheet of colored paper and store in an inexpensive 12 x 12 scrapbook. We love looking at them and showing them off. I have 2 doing CTC and my youngest is PreK (He makes a painting each week to go along with the letter we are working on so when he his done he will have a super nice alphabet book!)

I wish I would have thought of this when I did CTC.

What neat ideas!

I am going to do this next time around with my middle ds. Thanks for the ideas!
