? for those who do additional science

Post by deltagal » Thu Jan 13, 2011 3:30 pm

HI all,

My 13 yo son is really enjoying his HOD science in CTC. :D However, we're exploring having our son take some classes outside our home and one of the opportunities that is a available is a science class. I'm interested in knowing what fellow HOD'ers are doing when they use additional science. Do you add-on and do HOD science and your other science or do you do in-lieu of or a variation of this. Post when you have a chance and let me know. Thanks!

Florence,

I'm so glad that your son is getting a chance to use HOD's science in CTC and enjoying it. :D We pray that it may continue to be a blessing to your family. While we do respect the fact that it is completely up to each family to decide which direction to go curriculum-wise in the area of science, and we realize there are many good science options , we also strive to keep the discussion on the HOD Board about science to those that we schedule and carry. :D This is because these are the sciences which we are best able to comment on and to help our customers utilize well. I believe that Apologia has their own message board that you could visit to get more feedback and information on their middle school/high school level programs which would help with your questions. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
