Our First Week....

We are all over the place! But it's pretty cool...
Jayden started Bigger this week going half speed for most of it.... We do dictation every day and DITHOR every day. We are on the second part of DITHOR doing the fantasy genre. This schedule seems to be working out well. She could easily do full speed, but I don't want to yet... I'll probably give us until February to go full speed. We'll see....
Grace caught up in three days instead of two weeks like I thought she would (I didn't really look at what the lessons were on the right side) so she'll be starting LHFHG Unit 3 next week going full speed.... we might even do 6 days a week occasionally because I want to space her and Julianna out some.
Julianna is having a blast with LHTH.... we had gotten half way through it before we stopped and rearranged everyone, but we started over. We got her 4 little workbooks from the dollar store and she does a page out of one or two of them each day. She's full speed.
So far it hasn't taken us more than 2 hours to do everyone, which works out well. One day it took 2 hours, but there were a TON of interruptions and bad attitudes that had to be worked on. Once we get in the groove I don't expect it to take more than 2.5-3 hours with everyone going full speed.
I absolutely love teaching my kids. I wouldn't get to see it all come together so nicely though if it weren't for HOD!
