Happy New Year, everyone!!!!
This Thursday I am placing my final order of items that I need to begin CTC with my daughter!! Thankfully, I already own everything else that I need for my other dc.
I am so excited to have a good long look at those CTC books!!!!
Do you know I have had the most enjoyable holiday season?? It is for many reasons, but one of those reasons is because we are using HOD!!! ---I have not had to bother with ANYTHING homeschooling throughout this Thanksgiving/Christmas season because it is already done for me!!! No more spending my precious time with my husband working on school stuff! No more bleary-eyed evenings planning what we are going to do each week. I am free!
While homeschooling is challenging and rewarding, I can honestly say for the first time ever that I am enjoying schooling my children. I can focus on my relationship with them, and enjoying all of the precious moments with them. No more wasting my time focusing on planning. I feel like I am free to "just be mom" again...which is what I REALLY want to focus on anyway!!!
