I'm continuing to enjoy the books from CTC as my bedtime reading - Within the Palace Gates, The Golden Bull, The Hittite Warrior and God King have all been TERRIFIC. I can't wait to go to bed at night just so I can sink into another good book. I should finish God King tonight. I'm trying to decide what to read next. Keep those good books coming...Carrie!

That is such fun! "God King" was a favorite of mine from CTC. I got the RTR Extension Package books for me to read for fun too. I didn't want to miss them!

We actually do our "Storytime" component during our bedtime reading complete with activities and retellings. Dad joins in.

I am so glad that you are enjoying reading the selections we've chosen. I must confess that I truly enjoyed reading them myself as we selected them for inclusion in the guide. The same is true for the Revival to Revolution books that we have just finished selecting. I always think that there will be so many good books that it will be hard to choose, but when it comes right down to it there aren't nearly as many good books as one would think! Often it is quite the search to find the few that suit each package's purpose. The last few book choices are always the hardest, but when I have the Lord's peace then I know I'm done!
