Make connections in a funny way

Last night we were watching Charlie Brown's Christmas. After the "real" one they show another one that is newer. There is a little girl that keeps changing her name. She says "today my name is Jezebel", well at this my ds starts laughing and laughing. "Who would want to be named Jezebel, doesn't she know what she did!" Linus then proceeds to tell the little girl who Jezebel was and my ds was pretty excited that he knew as much as Linus. My dh was looking confused until I explained to him we studied Jezebel this year in CTC.

That's too funny!! It's neat what they pick up from school.

We read about Jezebel a month or two ago in our family Bible reading and my 7 yo said that was a nice name and she wondered why people weren't named Jezebel. I kind of giggled a little and said because she was such a bad person. My 7 yo looked thoughtful for a moment and then said that it was still a nice name. lol She would agree with that girl who kept changing her name, I guess.

I think it's really neat that your son recognized Jezebel from doing school, though. HOD really helps them to retain what they study, I think.

Lynn,

I love to see my kiddos make those types of connections. It shows there is much more going on inside of them than I realize. PTL! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
