Jayden really wants me to read Anne of Green Gables to her... what genre would that fit in so that I can use it for storytime?

Yes, I love to read, but I'm literature ignorant.

I read somewhere that Anne of Gr Gables is humor as far as genre.

HTH!!
You may want to double check that, but I'm 98% sure...

On the "Sample Book Ideas" list that HOD sells, it's listed under Historical Fiction.

Hello,

Not to be argumentative here! :) :) Carrie listed Anne of Gr. Gables as humor genre in the Bibliography Girls Interest storytime titles in the back of the CtC teacher's guide.

Maybe it fits into both genre??! :)

Yeah, it probably does! :) I think I remember Julie mentioning that some of the books do overlap genres.

ok... I'll probably use it for humor then :) We like the little house books for historical fiction :)
