I've seen a lot of PM's in my in box from moms who want to know more about Auditory Processing but this so often Linked to Sensory Processing issues as well. This Great church in Irving TX has been slowly but surely getting their whole conference up on the web. I'm finding its just not for Adopted kiddos
DR. Karyn Purvis was there The connected child she's really gone in-depth on this whole Sensory thing here is a link with suggestions for class room teachers but maybe we can glean some nuggets from her.

there is link to things to do with your child in this set of handouts: and Lots of links for you to explore
http://tapestryconference.org/wp-conten ... ndouts.pdf
So if your experiencing behavior issues that seem way out of proportion to the tasks, check out the above links it may help.
I know all the sensory Integration we have done with DD1 has made a marked improvement in ability and attitude.
