I guess I like to use Christmas as a middle point and just wondered what unit do most of you mama's aim to complete by then? Do you normally like to have almost 1/2 of the guide done? I think we'll wrap up right around unit 14...just wondering!

We got a late start to our current guide since we were finishing the last one, so I would like to be done with unit 9 by Christmas.

We will be finished with unit 20 of Beyond when we take Christmas break, but we started in July. Dd will be finished with unit 14 of Little hearts at Christmas break.

We should be finished through week 14 of Beyond.

I think we'll be through either 14 or 15 in Bigger, not quite 1/2 way yet.

I was shooting for unit 20 this year just because we'll be taking the next couple months off for the new baby and I'd like to be past the half-way point so it won't seem like we have so much to do to finish the year when we start up again.

We will finish Unit 16 in both Beyond and CTC just before Christmas.

We will be in Unit 15 in Preparing, but only unit 12 in LHFHG.

I plan to break at Unit 14 in LHfHG (started early August) and Unit 25 in Preparing (started last March then took a break over Summer and restarted in August). I really want to take some time in December to do some FUN Christmas activities and so I might not get quite this far along. We can all have goals, though, right?!

We started in September, and we will probably be finishing up unit 12 of LHFHG by the end of the year. We will go until the end of June or middle of July, so the end of the year isn't really halfway for us. We take breaks through out the year, and I try to keep it going as long as possible throughout the summer. I like the structure.

I'm hoping to be done with unit 14 of Preparing. I was a little concerned about being behind, but now I feel better after reading several of you are on the same pace!

We will be taking three weeks off in December for my son's birthday, my mom's birthday, and Jesus' birthday! We homeschool four days a week, year round, so we are not as far ahead as most of you. We will just finish Unit 11 before we take our December break.

We are all over the place. We are in our break right now with Jayden and Julianna... Jayden will start Bigger in January, Grace I hope to be through with unit 3 or 4 in LHFHG by Christmas, Julianna is halfway through LHTH (I think actually unit 18, but I"d have to look) and will start back in February.

Hopefully after next year they'll be fairly close together in their school year But it works....

We are going to get thru week 14 next week in CTC and then we are actually taking off of HOD the week of Thanksgiving until Jan. This is the first year I am trying this but we have lots of other things going on at the holidays so we are going to continue to do math and grammar. We are going to play catch up on anything we missed (like some History projects that we did not get to) and we will be finishing up some 4H projects due at the end of the year. We will also work on holiday gifts/crafts. It sounds like a long time but one week is Thanksgiving and 2 weeks are the weeks we take off in December for Christmas because my husband will be off and home with us so it is only 3 full weeks of school we are taking off of HOD. I think we will all come back excited in January to begin full speed again . We'll see how it goes ....

What a great question!!! We are currently in Bigger unit 6, Little Hearts unit 7, and Little Hands unit 11. I'd like to get through 5 more units by that date. We just keep swimming....
