Was the cytoplasm supposed to be firm? (Prep 10-3))

We did the science experiment of making the model of the cell tonight. Was the cytoplasm supposed to be firm or jellyish? Ours was just liquid. The rest of it was great, but I wondered if it should have had a different consistency.
I've done all the guides now with at least one child and still feeling the HOD LOVE. LOL!

Steph,

I don't have my guide right with me, but if it's the one I'm thinking of the cytoplasm was supposed to be a cross between jello-like and a bit runny (but still holding a loose form). You may have needed to add a bit more cornstarch to firm it up a bit more (if it's the one I'm thinking has cornstarch in the recipe). If not, feel free to correct me.

Blessings,
Carrie
