More praise for Singapore math

I am just SO HAPPY that we decided to go with Singapore. This is a meaty little program! My 7 y/o ds went from hating math to LOVING math and has gone from having a hard time adding and subtracting to totally "getting it."

My older son is back in Singapore too - using it as scheduled in the CTC guide and we are just loving it! He is getting things with Singapore that he missed time and time again while using CLE. Praise God for leading us to this math curriculum..and all of HOD. Using HOD as written has been such a God send for us. Last year, we struggled mightily..this year, school is a breeze for me to plan and a pleasure for the kids to do.

I just thank God for such an amazing curriculum. I feel His hand leading and guiding us each and every day and I know that we are on the path He has chosen for us!

Hooray for Singapore! :D Math woes can really be such a sad thing to fix. I am so glad your sweetie is soaring with Singapore! :D This post will certainly give courage to others considering a switch to Singapore. It is such a blessing to see our dc feeling confident about their learning, and also a blessing for us to feel good about our teaching. I am celebrating with you that you are enjoying your HOD year, Rebecca! Me too! :D

In Christ,
Julie

Rebecca,

I'm praising the Lord with you today, as we are daily blessed by Singapore math too! :D The difference on the math path we've taken between my oldest son and my next sons in line has been night and day, mainly due to using Singapore with the next boys (rather than the myriad of programs we went through seeking the "right fit" for my oldest son). What a difference! Both my older kiddos are equally mathy and score incredibly well on the math sections of their Iowa Basics every year, but the difference in attitude and understanding in math is very pronounced. :D So, I'm joining you in celebrating today.

I'm so glad that you are having a great year! That is so good to hear! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
