My son is shouting for joy today!

My children had already begun some of their independent school work this morning when I heard my middle son (9) begin shouting things like, "Wohoo! Alright! This is so awesome!". So I am thinking he is off track already and probably trying to sneak and play Leapster with his younger brother because typically this kind of excitement from him is centered around playing games. I call him to ask what he is doing and he runs to me and says in Bible Story Time today we are starting "God King"! (He and his older brother(11) are doing CTC and ever since we received our curr. he has been excited about reading this book.) He continues saying, "I really want to start it right now ... can I at least take the plastic wrapper off :D ." You can't ask for much more than that ... thanks HOD!!!

We just finished God King and it was a HUGE hit! My ds absolutely loved it. Warning: it will be hard to stop where you are supposed to each day. I hope your kiddos will find it as worth the wait as mine did!

We still have to finish Jahub's Journal...but it won't be long before we start God King! We have thoroughly enjoyed every.single.book so far. We even enjoyed reading through the book of Ruth in the Bible. Isn't it a treasure to do HOD each day? We are so blessed to have found it and to have it working so well for our kids!

Your ds will find "God King" is so worth the wait! My ds and I loved that book. When we finished it, it disappeared up the stairs along with my ds at the end of that school day. I believe he's reread it at least twice. Yeah- it's going to be tough not to read ahead.

In Christ,
