We are reading "Ben and Me" and are at the chapter about Ben visiting the print shop and Amos changing the type forms. When my son narrated this part to me he explained that "Amos looked at the computer and changed what Ben had typed"!

Too cute! I guess this generation just cannot fathom a time when there were no computers.

Oh that is too funny - Ben would have had a good laugh! We are reading about him in Eggleston's books in Bigger Hearts. Ben surely would have also loved to see all of the new inventions we have. Ben Franklin became such an amazing inventor largely due to the fact that he read, read, read so many wonderful books - and then he told others about what he'd read. Kind of sounds like a CM style kind of education!
Thanks for sharing this funny story!
In Christ,
Julie

Kristin,
How cute!
Our kiddos will be the ones who don't remember life before computers!
Perhaps I'm dating myself now,
but in my high school days, we still used the electric typewriter and electronic typewriters were just moving to a daisywheel as the "new thing"! We had computers but they were pretty huge and loud.
Blessings,
Carrie
