Some may remeber my requests for prayer for my mother who had been diagnosed with lung cancer. Thank you for your prayers.. my mom is once again cancer free. Unfortunately my mom decided to move out from our home and we reluctantly but decidely with our blessing let her go..So I ask for prayers once again..her heart is heavy with many many years of hurt and sadness..I think she feels God failed her (remember my 2nd oldest half sister -her daughter died back in January from complications of lung cancer). In a way I think she moved away from us so she could in her own way deal with these hurts, though how she is choosing to deal is definitely not God centered.
On a good note..my Kasey is finally 6 units away from finishing CTC (lol a month behind where I had hoped she would be done). Its so hard to keep looking at the clear rubber maid tub holding all those wonderful RTR books and not chafe that we are almost done w/ CTC. With all the stops and starts since November of last year, I am thrilled though that we have managed to keep on track. CTC has helped Kasey maintain focus and clarity. The way the manual was laid out it was easy to keep track of what was accomplished and what was needed to be done.
I have really loved the art work that has been done through CTC. Our county fair is in a few short weeks and we decided to enter some of her drawings and paintings through the 4H. When we went to have the work matted the gentleman in the framing department raved over her work and was extremely impressed over the use of art through history and poetry.
Another good note... our family is growing again... Kasey and Typhoon Tiffy will have either a brother or sister sometime in May..

So even though it seemed at times there was heartache God did see us through and brought wonderful blessings to our family. Thank you so much for alllowing me to share these moments with those of you prayer warriors...
