I just wanted to let everyone know that our newest addition arrived on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 9:35 a.m. via c-section (my first!). I am feeling well, just a bit of pain and discomfort, and she is doing great...nursing well. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and is 19 inches long. We have named her Autumn Elle. We hope to go home today, but have not heard yet. If you'd like to read more and/or keep up-to-date on our progress please see my blogs. Thanks for all the prayers, ladies!

Congratulations! Praying for peace for your family And Sunday is my son's birthday, too

Congratulations! I had a c-section last time too. Youch! It helped me to hold a rolled up towel tightly against my incision when I stood or sat up. Someone gave me that piece of advice after my c-section, and I was oh-so-grateful - so I thought I'd pass it on to you I hope you recover well and enjoy introducing your little Autumn to her new home. I love her name too - for a fall baby especially - lovely!

Congratulations Wendy! I was actually thinking of you on Sunday and wondering how close you were to delivering that new little bundle. 10-10-10 - that'll be an easy birthday to remember. I had a new niece born today, and mom & dad were hoping she'd be born on Sunday.

We actually talked about it beforehand....on Saturday. We said it would be cool if she was born at 10:10 a.m. on 10-10-10....we missed the time by 35 minutes, as she was born at 9:35 a.m.
