Sorry for so many questions everyone. I have been using the classic curriculum arithmetic workbooks that are keyed to Ray's Arithmetic. Up until this year we've been ok with them however I feel like we are getting bogged down lately. Every year there are four workbooks to complete at approximately 90 pps a piece. So I feel like we are stuck in one place for a long time. I'm wondering about how many pages the singapore books have? Also, my dds are LOVING the hands on arithmetic suggestions in the Beyond guide which is why I actually started considering Singapore. If it is anything like the activities in the guide I know that they will love it. TIA

I just looked at my 2a and 2b work book has 170 pages
there is a range of problems per page from as few as 2 to as many as 20 (it was a fact family page)
You only do 1-2 pages per day with the hands on activities it is usually only one page.

I'm loving it with my DD2 :-)

Thanks! I think I'll look at the placement tests to get an idea of how the problems are presented.

We did Ray's for a year, and we enjoyed going back to Singapore. The hands-on activities in the HOD guides are wonderful, and they make it super easy for dc to do the Singapore workbooks. HTH as you consider what you'd like to do.
