Awaiting box day!!

Post by MomtoJGJE » Sat Oct 02, 2010 8:40 am

I finally got the go ahead from DH to put in my order for DITHOR! I'm so excited! We are going to use the library for the books, but our library seemingly doesn't have biographies in a 2nd or 3rd grade reading level, so I did buy a biography. I got Squanto because we are going to be leading up to Thanksgiving.

Congratulations! We read Squanto last year as our Biography in Beyond and finished about this time last year. It was nice leading up to Thanksgiving, so I think you made and excellent choice. :D

Hooray for upcoming box day! :D I'm excited for you to begin DITHOR. I too think Squanto was a good choice - that is a great read. :D

Thanks for confirming that choice! I was trying to find something she would find exciting, relevant, and not too hard to get through. I want to start her off on the right foot!

Lora Beth,

How exciting! We pray you will enjoy DITHR and Squanto and that your Box Day will be soon, if you haven't had it already. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

We had our box day last Friday... it came while we were at the zoo... but I looked at the stuff when we got home anyway, even though it was 10pm! :)

We are going half speed for a while, so today I'll do the kick off thing and she'll read some, tomorrow she'll read some and we'll do day one, Wednesday she'll just read, Thursday we'll do day 2, etc. We are both very excited!
