I am so excited about what my DS is learning! We were close to finishing The Golden Bull (CTC) when my little darling stopped me and said, "Mom, Jomar did something like Jesus." "What's that, honey?" (Mind you, I have had a headache for 3 weeks, was reading aloud, but really not comprehending anything I read) "He willingly took the place for someone else who did something wrong! Just like Jesus did for me." We stopped reading and had quite a good discussion, comparing and contrasting Jomar and Jesus. WHEW! We may not have finished all of school, but something really important happened!

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! And it is the fruit of not just CTC, but of using DITHOR. I am so thrilled with how DITHOR trains our kiddos to evaluate literature, drawing out different qualities in characters and encouraging them to compare those fictional characters to Biblical men. We have so enjoyed it...and it is overflowing into EVERY area or our lives.

Thanking God for leading us to HOD. It is so what we have been looking for.

I'm praising the Lord with you today! Your ds making that connection truly shows the Lord is at work in his heart. We loved "The Golden Bull" as it gave much opportunity for heart to heart conversations. I have continued to pray for your headaches to subside as well.
