Hi, Ladies!
I would like to get an order in soon for Bigger (target start date, April 28th). Anyways, I am hoping that some of you will double check to make sure I have it all:
Bigger Economy
Science Adder
Cheerful Cursive
DITHOR
Student Book 2/3---Should I order one for each of my boys? What about the Project Book?
Dithor Book Suggestions
Basic- R&S 2, Singapore 2A+B.
I'm not going to order the read-alouds packages... My local library has most from all three packages. Does this look right?
Thanks in advance... the ladies on this board have been WONDERFUL!

It looks good to me. I would personally just get one student book and make copies. But I have six so you have to weigh cost against convenience on that.
We have not tried the project packs. Hopefully someone will answer you on that.
How exciting that you get to start soon!

Looks good to me! Good point, W2W! I'd get the Book Projects to Send Home, Gr. 2. I used to think that if you didn't have an artsy child that you didn't need this book. How wrong I was! I don't have an art-minded child, and he still picks that option a good majority of the time. Having the 3 options for DITHOR projects is really nice, and worth the extra $6.95. You can use these projects for any subject area or project as well, so they are soooo versatile. I've used the ideas with church groups of children too. But that's just my take on it! I'm so excited for you to order - you will love it!
In Christ,
Julie
thank you

Thanks W2W and my3sons! I think that I will probably go with 1 student book as one of my boys is still at the tail end of the emerging readers. That will give me some time to decide if it's doable to make copies. I try to be very thrifty but sometimes it is just worth my sanity to have one less thing to worry about. I'm so excited to start! Hopefully, you'll see me on the boards more. My little guy is loving LHTH.
Thanks,
Melissa

Melissa,
Your list looks great! I'm excited for you to get your things and get started!
The only possible missing items would be "Hymns for a Kids Heart" and "Little Pillows". You may have chosen not to go with those, but I just wanted to mention them since you were asking to recheck the order for any missing items!
Blessings,
Carrie
I'm confused...

My understanding was that Hymns and Little Pillows came in the basic. Do these need to be ordered separately?

You're right-if you buy the basic package, it has R&S English 2, your choice of Singapore math, Little Pillows and Hymns for a Kid's Heart. In your first post, you didn't list the Little Pillows and the Hymn book, so it didn't seem like you were getting them

Melissa,
I'm so sorry for confusing you!
You are right that they come in the Basic Package as Lourdes was so kind to point out!
I read your post too quickly and didn't see that you had the Basic Package listed.
I'm lucky I have all of you ladies to check MY thinking!
Blessings,
Carrie
