I started doing LHGHG this week with my 5 1/2 year old daughter and it is going so well!

She has been cooperative and asks for me when we are finished. She said "This is really fun Mom. I want to do this all day!"

Last night, she was sitting on the sofa getting ready to read with hubby and she said "Dad, you know that Matthew 19:14 is important, right? Jesus said let the little children come to me and do not stop them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them"

This is what it's all about for me. I want her to learn scripture and to see how it applies to our lives today. I want her to know that we serve a living God. I want her to know that the Bible wasn't just relevant back in some old days. I want her to grow her relationship with God and know without doubt that God sent Jesus to be our Savior. I truly believe that HOD is going to help us tremendously!

That is wonderful. I am excited too, as I just started LHFHG with my 5 yo dd. It looks like we are going to have a wonderful year! So glad it is going so well for you!

We are having a great start with lhfhg also! What a blessing to have this curriculum! I feel like we have the best kept secret in hsing, although I am trying to spread the hod joy!!

I love how natural talking about God and His word feels with HOD. It just spills over into our daily lives, well after the school day is done. I bet your dh loved hearing your dd sporadically share her Bible verse! Sweet words for a daddy (and mommy) to hear.
