Can I do Preparing Science out of order?

Post by annaz » Tue Sep 07, 2010 3:53 pm

DD has a physical science class and I was wondering if I should do Einstein while she's in that co-op till Thanksgiving? I'm only on Unit 4.

Annaz,

I probably wouldn't, as Einstein also fits within the time period that you'll be studying him in the Preparing Hearts guide (as sheduled for you already). If your dd has already done some studying on Einstein (in co-op) prior to reading about him in Preparing Hearts it actually may work to her benefit as it will be as if you've "primed the pump". :D

CM always said kiddos should be left to make their own connections as those are the connections that are the strongest. :D The scheduler in me, however, loves to connect as much as I can. So, I can relate to your question. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Thanks Carrie. The more I thought about it, the more I thought it may be more confusing as well.
