Today was our first day with Preparing. I'm using it with my 9 yo ds. My 5 yo dd is still working through LHTH. We had such a wonderful day! He's so excited about school. I can't believe it but last night, he actually said he was glad to get started with school again! Today he told me that he loves school. I have to say that I don't think that's the typical response for a 9 yo boy! We had a really smooth day and learned a lot already. Yay for HOD!

I'm so glad to hear this! I'm celebrating your great first day with you, as I know my boys don't all get super-enthused to give up their summer either!
