field trip ideas

Hi! I'll be starting tomorrow with 2 girls in CTC and a 4 year old boy in LHTH. I'd like to occasionally use Fridays as field trip days, nut would really like if it could somewhat correspond to what we're learning in one or the other books. Any ideas?

I am not familiar with field trips in your state. I do have a book "Kids love Georgia" and it breaks down field trips by region and category. You might could get a copy for your state or something similar. It has been very helpful to me. The other idea would be to see if you have some type of homeschool support group in your area that does field trips; maybe they are doing something your family would enjoy. Hope that helps.
