Which year is a spelling program introduced? Which spelling program does HOD recommend? I'm not finding one in the catalog.

Spelling is introduced in Beyond Little Hearts For His Glory. If you haven't seen it already, you could view the 1st week of Beyond in PDF format and check it out from there. HTH!

Oh how funny! I used that book last year and completely missed that. We used a 100 year old book called Spelling by Dictation and then when that wasn't really working, I switched to Queen Homeschooling's spelling. We mostly just followed the history schedule in Beyond Little Hearts because my dd was in 3rd grade and the activities were geared to younger ages. It worked well as simply a history curriculum though, and my younger kids loved the stories too.

Spelling lists 1 and 2 (along with their plans) are in Beyond, and then Spelling list 2 and Dictation Level 2 are in Bigger Hearts. So hey, if you missed it in Beyond, you can still enjoy List 2 in Bigger Hearts! After Bigger Hearts, multiple dictation levels are included in each guide.
