I would go back and review slowly "Complete Subject vs Simple Subject" then "complete predicate vs simple predicate." If she is having a hard time drawing the diagram, then maybe make her a few dotted lines to trace and to write her words on. Hopefully, the more she draws the diagram, the better she will get at the drawing.
