We bought "Big Thoughts for Little People" by Kenneth Taylor but the teacher's guide gives 2 choices for devotionals:
Small talks about God
or
Playtime Devotions
Do I have an old guide? Anyone else having this problem?

I think you probably must have an older guide. According to the catalog,
Big Thoughts for Little People replaces
Playtime Devotions which is now out of print, and
My ABC Bible Verses replaces
Small Talks about God which is also out of print. We bought LHTH last year, and the new devotions are the ones used.

The copyright date of mine is 2003.
Do you think there is a place to get the updated devotional schedule?

There used to be a link on the HOD homepage where you could print schedules for replacement books. I couldn't find it when I looked just now. Maybe someone else can pop on and point you in the right direction.

I bought mine (c2003) used last year, and last year there was an update available for using My ABC Bible Verses, which I'm following this year with Big Thoughts for my younger dd, because the devotional books are both in ABC format. I couldn't find it on the HOD website anymore. PM me if you'd like me to share it with you

I also have the older version that I used with my two older dc. Since then, I sold Small Talks and Playtime Devotions and picked up Big Thought and ABC Bible Verses. I emailed Carrie about it, and she said to correspond the letter of the devotion to the letter being studied. That's it in a nutshell
