English with CTC - R&S 4 or 5

Is there a big difference in the grammar level between R&S 4 and 5?
I already have WWTB. I was going to hold off buying English for a bit while we finish up the English we used last year (BJU 5). In the HOD notes, it says that R &S 4 provides enough writing that another program isn't needed. Since I have WWTB already, I was thinking of going with R&S 5 and taking it slow. Before I did that, I wanted to seek feedback here.
My dd is asking to go back to Growing With Grammar that she used in 3rd grade. From what I can see there isn't much in the way of writing instruction, so I wasn't desiring to go back to that. What was nice for her with BJU was the one chapter on grammar, one on writing. She liked their layout. I could just continue on with them for 6th, but wanted to look at all the options a bit more before buying anything this year. I switched over to them from R&S last year because her eyes just glazed over with R&S. Again, workbooky type child and the color got her going. She's a year older, and I was thinking perhaps it might be time to try R&S again. I think the amount of writing BJU has in their English, perhaps WWTB alongside would be too much writing. I would need to get out her BJU 5 and compare it to WWTB to better make that determination. Again, though, that may be another reason to move back to R&S. Plus, it also gets us back in line with all the HOD options/schedule.
My dd is 11yo/6th grade.
Thanks for any input, words of wisdom.
