What would you recommend for a science/history notebook? A sketchbook with no lines, lines at the bottom or lines on the left side by the binder with open space on the right? I don't know how much writing is done and if lines are helpful for each of the above. Thank you, Amy

Amy,

Tough question, as the notebooking assignments vary as to how much writing and drawing space is needed for each assignment. For science, the assignments will typically need lines at the top of the page to copy Scripture, with white space below for drawing and labeling. For History it varies a bit more. With my kiddos who needed the lines for writing, I've had them do the written part on handwriting paper and then cut that out and glued their written work onto typing paper. Then, my kiddos do the drawing part on the typing paper. It's just one way to work around having a certain type of paper customized to each assignment. Then, we put the assignments in a plastic page protector in a 3-ring binder. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
