DS likes to do work on the chalkboard, but he hates the feel of the chalk in his hands. I have seen various products out there, chalkboard crayons and markers, but I'm not sure how well they work or if they erase easily. I've also considered getting a chalk holder like the one I remember a teacher having when I was a kid, but I'm not sure where to locate those or how expensive they may be. Any experience with any of these things?
Edit: Okay, scratch the crayons I guess. I could have SWORN I saw an advertisement for Crayola chalkboard crayons in a Target catalog, but I guess I was mistaken because I can't find them doing a google search. Hmmm..
O/T chalk alternatives
Re: O/T chalk alternatives
We use little white boards. I got some that are maybe 9x12 size from Miller Pads & Paper for $2 at a homeschool conference. (But I'm guessing you could order them, too.) We have some colorful dry erase markers with erasers built in on the ends that we love.

Thanks, but I'm really looking for chalk because we have GIANT schoolroom-sized chalkboard.
And another...just because DD2 is so stinkin' cute!
