Its been a long time since I have been here.

Last year I used LHFHG and Bigger...

I am planning on Beyond this year but my 7 year old keeps asking if it will have the "Rhymes in Motion?". He loves that.

We are using Beyond, and it does not have rhymes in motion. It has poetry instead. My 7 year old is rally enjoying it though.

since i am using LHFHG with my "k"er my son who is in Beyond this year joins in again for that this year if he is around.

Thank you Ladies. I think I will see if any of the rhymes go w/ the units in Beyond and use those.
He asked about that and the music and I know they have another cd for Beyond.

The poetry selection for each unit gives the kids a chance to make up their own hand motions to go with the poem, and so does the weekly bible verse....HTH!!

We're in Beyond this year with my ds and he really enjoys making up the motions to the poems, too. He often asks me to read the poem every day after that for the duration of the unit so he can do the motions again & again.

We started today and that is what I did .... made up hand motions.... thanks everyone. I have missed being here....

What a blessing to see how you are doing a great job at doing things that your kiddo's enjoy and adding them into your school routine. I am so looking forward to doing LHFHG this coming year with my ds. Well, we will start in Jan. We so enjoyed the rhymes with my older one... He still remembers some and it has been about 2 1/2 years...

I had to smile at your post, as one of my sons always sang the poetry to his own tune or to a tune he knew too! He is an auditory kiddo!
