I am sad to say I began bleeding on Sunday. With rest it had slowed then stopped yesterday, but started again today. Sonogram showed baby looking great and super active, heart beat normal, womb and cervix looking normal, no apparent cause for the bleeding-I am 15 weeks along, going to lie down and drink water and put my trust in the Lord. He is good all the time.

Praying for you and this baby, Lourdes! I am so thankful for the peace that God gives us during these kinds of trying times...but I know how heartbreaking and disappointing it can be, too. I lost 2 babies just before this pregnancy - one middle of 1st trimester and one at the end of the 1st trimester. And, I have some issues with not ovulating, so to have 3 pregnancies in 3 years is a MIRACLE for me! God proved to be so good...through the trial of loss and waiting, and now we're ready to meet a new blessing any day! What a gift!
I'm praying for health for you and the little one - and that you'll get to continue to carry this little baby.

Praying for you. Keep your feet up, don't stress and drink lots of water. I had two pregnancies with bleeding and had two very healthy babies. Don't do anything you do not have to do and stay down with feet up as much as possible. Try to be peaceful if possible. God has a plan. Praying.

Thank you all for your prayers and words of encouragement. The bleeding stops when I lie on my back with my feet up, or if I sit upright for a while. Oddly, it started up again when I laid on my left side-I will mention this to my midwife on Monday, she said I should come in if bleeding continued, and she would see about referring me for a detailed sonogram and ob/gyn if anything is found. She said otherwise it may just be a case of "mystery bleeding" which happens sometimes in otherwise healthy pregnancies. As of right now it has slowed to almost nothing again. I will pop on sometime next week if anything changes, and again thank you. It strengthens my heart to have your support.

So I am down to what I would call slight "discharge", no more blood. I am 16 weeks and a day. I have gently increased my activity and it didn't have any negative effects, and by that I mean I actually went downstairs for a while
I feel well and am not cramping, and I am trying to listen to my body, meaning I lie down if I feel tired. Planning to start school fully on August 30, and having my daughter do more of the work independently. I think she's ready for that. But I'll still have her bring me the read-alouds since we both enjoy those, maybe she can read to me for a change
