Question from New HS'er about Beyond

Hi All~ I am new to homeschooling this year, I will have 1st, 4th and 7th graders. I came across HOD on another message board, and it seems to be what i'm looking for, at least for the 1st, possibly 4th grader. I was able to purchase what is basically the economy package for Beyond Little Hearts, used, and I have already ordered Rod and Staff math for all of the kids. What else would I need to get to complete this program for my 1st grader? Thanks!

Hello!
Here is the link for the Beyond package.

If you already have the economy package and your Math program, you just need the following:
Science - God's Wonderful Works
Devotional - Morning Bells
Music - Hide 'Em In Your Heart Vol II
Storytime - You can purchase a boy package, a girl package or a classic package. Or you can pick and choose your own from all three packages (just make sure to get one for each genre).
Phonics/Reading - HOD recommends The Reading Lesson or Reading Made Easy for beginning readers and the Emerging Readers book set if your child is an early reader. If your child is an independent reader you can look into DITHOR.
Enjoy HOD!

Welcome to HOD! We just finished up Beyond and it was a great program. I am sure you will enjoy it too.
We also use Rod and Staff for math.
Looking forward to sharing this journey with you!
Blessings,
Andrea

Welcome to the HOD Board!

There is a little lightbulb you can click on called "Helpful Tips on How to Order" at this link:

HOD carries everything you'd need, so you can just go through the steps to be sure you've got what you need, and you should be set!

I think you are making a wonderful choice to homeschool, and I hope you share your HOD journey with us here on the board.
In Christ,
Julie
