Because we finished John Audubon for science.

What a wonderful book! She literally came running to me and in a panic when she read the guide had scheduled the final pages to be read. One Small Square: Woods here we come!

I love the enthusiasm! Yesterday my daughter "complained" because we finished a chapter in "Raiders From the Sea" in Preparing-she couldn't wait to see what happens next

John Audubon was a HUGE favorite here, too!

Grant is still a huge bird enthusiast - and has quite the egg collection from all the nests he's found within a mile of our house. (Of course it helps that Dad & Grandma love to help with this...

)
We loved Raiders from the Sea, too!!

It ends with a huge cliff-hanger, Lourdes. Your daughter is not going to be happy!

I haven't decided if I'm going to sneak the next book in that series into DITHOR this year...or make Grant wait until RTR to read it when it's scheduled. (I figured I could put book #3 in its place if I do that...) Honestly I LOVED that book as much as Grant, and can't wait to see what happens!

My library just got the Raiders and the Sea AND the rest of the whole series! I asked them to and they did!

Didn't know they'd do it so quickly...and honestly didn't think they'd do it at all since it's Christian content. DD9 is BEGGING to read them. I told her no, but oh my! She is not happy about that either! LOL

We just finished today too! My ds7 had the same reaction. He wanted to know if there were any other books on John Audubon that we could read. He was very disappointed that we had reached the end.
