What R&S method does Carrie suggest?

I am curious as I have seen references to the way Carrie suggests using the R&S English books. I have used 2 & 3 in the past and have liked them. Since I have not used any prior HOD years, I am wondering what method HOD recommends for using the books? It was hard for us to just work through them lesson after lesson, but I liked the idea behind them and the layout of the lessons.

Hi-I can't speak for Carrie, but from what I've seen so far (I'm using R&S English 2 with Bigger Hearts), it's just 1 lesson per day, straight from the student text. No extra worksheets that R&S offers or anything. I like it because it is a straight grammar lesson that takes very little time to complete, and my kids are retaining what they are learning. The Heart of Dakota manuals cover all the language arts quite thoroughly at the various levels, iintegrating everything neatly into the daily lesson plans, and there will be writing lessons in the new Preparing Hearts manual.
