Hi there!
I have no idea what bible to choose for my dd. What reading levels are The Early Reader's Bible and The Beginner's Bible? My dd finished Reading Made Easy and is now reading (with a little help) beginning readers from the library. She's mostly comfortable with level 1 right now, but sometimes can do a level 2 and both are with some help/guidance from me.
Thanks for the help!
Michelle

The Early Reader's Bible is the easier of the 2, as it has a more controlled vocabulary. We jumped into reading this one as soon as Allison finished The Reading Lesson, and it's going really well!!

She just turned 6, and my plan is to keep her reading through the summer (most days at least

) and use both Bibles with the Emerging Readers. So, we're starting with The Early Reader's Bible and then we'll restart the set with The Beginners Bible. It will stretch the set out an extra 9 weeks for us, but I think that will be good so that we don't get to the harder books too soon or DITHOR.
You sure don't have to use both Bibles though. One or the other works great (and that's how Carrie wrote it), but I've seen several moms whose kiddos were ready for the Emerging Readers early take this route, so I think it will work for us.

Hi! I am using Beyond for 2 dds so for my stronger reader I am using The Beginner's Bible and for her sister I am using The Early Reader's Bible. If your dd requires a little help from you, I would suggest the Early Reader's Bible so she does not get frustrated. HTH

I agree, I think the Early Reader's Bible would be a good choice. My older son just finishesd with The Reading Lesson about a month ago and he's doing great with the Early Reader's Bible. I think it's the perfect stepping stone to the Beginner's Bible, which is a little more difficult.

We're also going to read through both Bibles just to give my dd a little more time to grow in confidence in her reading ability. She still tires out quickly as she's reading so I want her to build up endurance, so to speak, before we get to far in the ER's set.
