Bigger and singapore 3, R&S 3

Hello all,

we are new to the board! I am planning to do Bigger with my 2nd and 3rd grader this fall. However, dd8 is already half-way through R&S 2 and Singapore 2.

Does Bigger schedule R&S 3 and Singapore 3?

You'll have a GREAT time with Bigger! That was Grant's 1st HOD guide and we loved it!

Yes, Bigger schedules Singapore 3 (in the appendix). Carrie has written hands-on activities for Singapore up through level 2B, and from then on you'll use the textbook/workbook combo as scheduled. It does not have the schedule for R&S 3, but I'd just do a lesson per day as that's how it's planned in Preparing. (I wouldn't get the Preparing guide unless you're needing it for something else.)

Are you thinking you'll be done with the math & English before you start Bigger? If not, you could very easily pick up where you're at with those and then move into level 3 in both as you go.

I just wanted to welcome you to the HOD Board! My ds Wyatt loved doing Bigger Hearts a few years back, and now my second ds is getting to enjoy doing Bigger! Kathleen already did a good job answering your questions, so I'll just concur. It's nice to meet you, and I think you'll find this board is a neat place to be - the ladies here are amazing - they are definitely using their God-given talents to encourage one another.

I just wanted to welcome you as well and say that is what we are doing this fall also. We'll be doing Bigger with Singapore 3A and 3B using the schedule in the appendix and R&S3, a lesson a day. So we'll be traveling this road together
