We currently homeschool our two children in Atlanta, GA but will be transferring to Des Moines, IA this summer. We were just wondering if there were any other families that use Heart of Dakota that live around Des Moines, IA. We LOVE HOD and would really enjoy meeting some other families in Iowa that we could mutually encourage.

Welcome to the HOD Board, Kristin! I'm not from Des Moines, but HOD has a booth at the Des Moines book fair that is s-w-a-m-p-e-d with wonderful ladies in the area using HOD. The conference is June 18-19, in case you'll be in the area. I live in an area with fewer homeschoolers, and this board is an encouragement to me. The ladies here are my homeschooling friends, and make me feel like I'm surrounded by like-minded HOD users, even though they live far away from me. I am looking forward to getting to know you here! HOD is a blessing to our family, and I pray it will be to yours as well.
