Hi Julie!

Just wondering if you still have the link on your photobucket for your schedules? I tried going to it, but it said it was deleted or not available anymore. I would love to look at it and digest more since we are done with school for the summer and I'm in the process of trying to get ideas for routines, etc. for next year before the baby is here and I am attempting to homeschool two with a toddler and baby! :o I appreciate it! Thanks! :D

HI Jessica! I tried to "organize" my photobucket pictures by creating a "chart" album, and that caused my old links to be erased. :? I'm going to try to copy them back into the default album and see if that works. :D Nope - didn't work. :? Go figure when I try to become more organized I somehow become less organized! Here is my charts album link that has all my past schedules and chart-type things in it, but if you want a particular schedule I can copy an individual link here instead:

Julie,
Thanks so much for sharing! I am looking at some of your schedules. How did you complete your school year only doing 4 days per week? I would like to stick to 4 days per week just so we have some down time on Fridays. But I don't want to really have school year round.

Any thoughts would be helpful!
Mary

Hi Mary! :D Since I've started my dc on the youngest suggested ages for HOD, I've just done school 4 days a week, taken our summers off in the middle, finished the guide we were in, and started the next one. This has worked well for me up through Bigger Hearts, and then after that all of the HOD guides are 4 day a week plans. We've gone half-speed for portions of years so my young little ones still ease into the guides well. Last year, we did school 5 days a week instead of 4 days, as that worked better for that particular year. I loved it! We usually homeschool from the end of August to mid-May. We have very long winters here, so it is the perfect time to "hibernate" and homeschool, which allows us to get done earlier and have more of our end of spring and summer months to enjoy the nice weather outdoors. HOD is super flexible this way. HTH! :D

In Christ,
Julie
