Can R to R be done independently?

I have a question about using R TO R. I have 7 children and am trying to plan out school for 6 grades next year. I have been feeling like I need to spend more time with my younger crowd (7,5,3) this next year and am thinking of doing Beyond with them.

My question is about my 2 older/middle children who will be 13 and 10. I was wondering if R to R can be done fairly independently? They are both strong readers who read long books like Henty and Little House in no time at all.
I do Bible with all the kids in the morning and would like to continue that, help everyone w/ LA's and Math as needed and spend some time with my 7,5,3 yr olds.

I had planned on my 13/10 yr olds doing MOH 2 this year, with my help, but R to R looks so much more interesting and fun. (We enjoyed MOH 1 when we did it)

SO....how independent could they be with R To R??? Is that doable, or will it require more of my time than I can give right now?

Hi Misti! We just finished CTC, and I had about an hour to an hour and a half of teaching time each day (including all subjects). RTR will be just as independent if not more. There are a few things to keep in mind though, and I mentioned them in this thread:

HTH, and I think you would love doing RTR along with Beyond. We did CTC, Beyond, and LHTH last year and loved it. The level of independence in HOD"s upper guides, and the time conscious plans focused on the 3 R's in the younger guides makes teaching multiple HOD guides easy to do.
