What Story Time books do you think I should choose? I am going through both the Beyond and the Bigger guide and doing all of the Storytime books, some genres more than once. Thanks!

Carmen,

That's an interesting question, as the reasons kiddos love certain books can be very different from what we think they love about a book. :D In pondering the answer to this question, it would appear that she likes books that lean toward the realistic, are shorter and not so terribly difficult to listen to, and have a steady plot involving relationships among the characters that move along toward a satisfying climax. :D With this in mind, I would likely lean toward the girl set of Beyond, or the girl set of Bigger, or a combination of the two sets in order to meet your daughter's interests best. Just make sure to choose one book for each of the nine genres in order to go along with the Storytime plans. :D

I often find that my sons surprise me with their interest in our read-alouds, as they have learned to enjoy pretty much everything I read to them. :D We pray that your daughter will enjoy the read-alouds too! Happy reading! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

That is a good point Carrie, because this book was a Sonlight reader. She generally disliked most of the Sonlight readers and I would think that they are all pretty similar. LOL I was hoping for a specific suggestion. I thought All of a Kind Family might be similar.
