This is for my 11 year old, 12 in July.
Bigger Hearts with Extension
Mathusee
Rod and Staff English 6
Apples Spelling
Bigger Science
DITHOR
Added Short Lessons In Us History
Igniting Your Writing or IEW
I would like to do Preparing with her when we finish this and add
Short Lessons in World History and maybe Apologia Science or maybe just more living books.

Marsha,
Now that I can see how you're covering each subject area for your 11 year old, I can assure you that what you have listed is enough for your 11 turning 12 year old.
With the addition of
Short Lessons in United States History to the Extension Package in "Bigger...", you're covering all that is needed for U.S. history (as that gives you the additional mapping and questioning that is needed for upper level history study).
Your language arts coverage looks very solid, and you can even take your time going through IEW as it is VERY full, especially along with Rod and Staff 6! You may not even need IEW as Rod and Staff 6, covers writing quite well. Drawn into the Heart will also give you the higher level literature study needed for that age level.
Your plan for Preparing.... sounds excellent as well. Definitely add "Short Lessons in World History" to the extension package and either Apologia (if you desire quite a bit more intensive science) or a few additional living books if you are going the CM way in middle school for science.
Then, you are set! You have done an excellent job of putting together a complete program for your oldest. It is solid across the board!
Blessings,
Carrie
I am relieved to hear that.

That lets me continue HOD with her, but gives her what she needs.

Hooray, Marsha! I'm so glad you were able to figure out what fits your family and your daughter best. There is much to choose from out there, but many guides write each subject area to require so much time from the parent that they don't work well in conjunction with other areas/guides. You have managed to get a workable schedule for your oldest without having it take all day!
Blessings,
Carrie
