I am just not picturing the end result. i have the stuff needed to make this edible log cabin. how exactly are we supposed to stack it? is it supposed to be 3 dimensional? i keep picturing pretzel sticks for the outlining, bread laid on top of wax paper for roof and door laid flat for door. but then that doesn't exactl seem like there would be room for the staking of pretzels sticks.
anyone describe it to me better, so that i understand the outcome?
thanks
Jenn D.

We made ours 3d, lincoln log style, glued at the ends with dabs of peanut butter. I used the really long, thick sticks because it was for a 3 & 5yo and I knew the regular sticks would frustrate them. We cut a roof and door out of tortillas (that's what was in the house

) and glued them on with more PB. It wasn't fine art, but it was perfect for my dc, and they enjoyed eating it (for several days

) Typing one-handed right now, but I'll see if I can find our pictures later

I'm pretty sure the original plans Carrie wrote in the guide are for it to look like a "real" log cabin with stick pretzels stacked like Lincoln logs. However, the day we did it a few weeks ago we didn't have any stick pretzels in the house (I didn't plan ahead

). I had my ds use waffle pretzels and he built it to look like a little house.
