wow I Finished On time

Post by Tansy » Thu May 13, 2010 11:40 am

Ok Like this is a total FIRST for Us. I started in the last week of August and we Just finished the last unit of beyond :-) Whooo whooo!!

I'm really happy I get a mini vacation before My dd1 finishes Public School in June. What Fun I have planned. I will keep dd2 reading and typing over the summer :-) And dd1 got in the free Theater Camp woo hooo!!!! I'm so happy!

I'm toying with bringing back my oldest As she seems to be doing much better with our relationship. I'm also concerned that she is not making any improvements in math at all in p/s. Now it might be because her brain is just not mature enough and it may never be able to handle word problems. I'm really seeking The Lords direction this summer to see if her reactionary attachment disorder has healed enough to bring her home. My husband wants too but Is much happier on how everyone is getting along and doesn't want too if it will mess that up. Were looking at this summer as the testing ground.

If I did bring dd1 home I believe I could do bigger with extensions for her and bigger for my dd2. Which would make life so much more easier and hopefully stop what I call Ping pong Mommy as each child vies for attention in their school work. If I had 1 curriculum then DD1's therapy would not seem so burden-some. My life would be so much more simplified. If you get the urge Please pray for guidance with what we should do next.

And rejoice wiht me As I Yell "I'm School Free!!!! at least for now.

Enjoy! We are going to finish Beyond tomorrow! :-) And praying for wisdom for you, too. As it says in James 1:5-If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

Have a nice break! I'm looking forward to some "down time", too!

HOORAY, Tansy! :D Way to go - and I too have prayed for you in your decision about your oldest dd. :) I know the Lord will reveal His answer to your prayers with continued prayer, and I know He will answer best. If you do end up doing HOD with your 2 dc, I've already begun praying for its success. Enjoy your time off, as you celebrate your timely finish! :D
